Regarding New Applications Due to a Change of Ownership
■ Cases Requiring a New Application
Examples:
- A sole proprietorship has been incorporated
- Business operations have been transferred to another party
- The company name has changed due to a merger (you wish to change the name to a different corporation with a different corporate number)
In cases such as the above, where there is a change in the operating company, a new review and application are required.
We do not accept changes to existing registration information, so please proceed with a new application.
■ How to Apply
Please create a new account under the correct (updated) name and submit a Live Mode application from that account.
How do I apply for Live mode (commercial use)?
You may also add a new account under the same user email address as the current one.
Please follow the steps below to add an account and submit a new application from the newly added account.

*About Switching Accounts:
Once the review of the new account is complete, you may disconnect the current account from your shop site at your convenience and connect the new account.
This completes the account switch. After the payment methods under the new account have been approved and the account switch is confirmed, the current account will be suspended sequentially after the payout of the remaining balance is completed.
There will be no downtime in the use of KOMOJU services during the process from the new account application to the deactivation of the current account, so please rest assured.
*About Payouts:
Payouts will be sent to the bank account registered for each individual account.
Please note that it is not possible to transfer the sales from the current account to the business entity under the new account name.
*About Status Updates after KOMOJU Account Change:
Please note that if there are any "Authorized" transactions in your current KOMOJU account, the transaction status will not be synchronized to your platform even if the payment is processed after switching to a new account.
